Join singer-songwriter Jeri Katherine Howell and visual artist Ginger Huebner for a one-of-a-kind creative workshop that blends live music and visual art in an inspiring, collaborative experience.
Set in Ginger’s beautiful Asheville studio, this interactive session invites participants to experience music in a whole new way. Jeri will share one or more of her original songs—offering insight into the lyrics and performing live excerpts—while Ginger guides you through her signature Create + Connect process.
Using collage and chalk pastel, you’ll translate what you hear and feel into a personal visual response—allowing sound, story, and emotion to take shape through image and color.
Whether you’re an artist, a music lover, or simply curious, you’ll leave with a framed original artwork and a fresh, creative lens for experiencing music.
Jeri Katherine Howell - Award-winning singer-songwriter, cultural producer, and educator — cultivates creative experiences that inspire us to live in complex and caring relationship with one another and the planet. Her compelling performances connect and rejuvenate audiences, centering vulnerable lyrics, dynamic vocals and guitar, and a grounding Folk/Americana sound. Join Ginger in gathering and creating with others embracing the playfulness of creativity through some fun, open ended studio time! There will be different mediums and processes to explore each time. NO artistic experience is required and all materials are provided.

Exploration of Art + Design mediums and methods
for all ages
Ginger offers lessons in drawing, painting, simple printmaking, and mixed media—all materials are included. Schedule multiple sessions to focus on the development of certain skills or specific techniques or to create a series.

Ignite Your Child’s Creativity with Ginger!
Looking for a fun, enriching art experience your child will love? Ginger’s small-scale classes are perfect for young makers ready to explore their creativity! With a warm, encouraging approach, Ginger engages kids in hands-on projects across a variety of mediums—drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and mixed media—offering something fresh and exciting in every class.
Each session is designed to:
Spark imagination and build confidence
Develop fine motor skills and creative thinking
Offer personalized attention thanks to small class sizes
Foster a lifelong love of art through playful exploration
