Build a Creative Culture
Ginger coaches admin, teachers and staff to develop an education philosophy that places creativity at its core.
The overarching goal of Ginger’s Curriculum Design and Professional Development offerings is to nourish the educator, giving them permission to alter their own education mindset. It is by changing this mindset and developing an education philosophy that places creativity at its core that teachers and staff can truly revolutionize attitudes toward curriculum planning, training, and classroom environment.
Ginger efficiently and effectively guides teachers through different processes of integrating creativity directly into school curriculum through hands-on experiences (individual and collaborative), classroom design (set up and clean up) and classroom management techniques. Participants develop new tools for their repertoire, gain a foundation in the principles of design thinking, and engage their own creative voices. These workshops go well beyond suggesting creative exercises and provide participants with the opportunity to connect and empower one another.
Both Visual art and Design have been proven to enhance cognition, social emotional skills, self-expression, perception, cultural awareness, and aesthetics. The PD workshops options below offer hands-on creative experiences that can be woven into subjects being taught in the classroom as well as used as tools for social emotional support for student, teachers and administration.
With over 25 years of experience teaching, collaborating, and leading a school - and years of developing innovative curricula that integrate creativity into classrooms from Pre-K to college level - Ginger offers a wide range of creative curriculum and consulting opportunities.
